Hi, everyone! My family will be heading to the world next month (dec '09) with our little baby boy! This will be Sullivan's first trip and we are super excited! We want to make sure we catch lots of photo memories and was wondering if Disney's Photopass is the way to go? Please let me know what you think about photopass. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

Have them take as many pictures as they want!! You can view them all online and then decide which ones, if any you want to buy. The Photopass people will also happily take a picture with your camera for you as well.

IMHO, buy the photopass CD in advance and save yourself $50. And then make sure you get as many pics as you can. We had a total of 100 pics taken, and once back home, with all the goodies available to add to the pics, I easily turned that 100 into 300. Whats more, once the CD is in your hands, you own the pictures. Much cheaper to have the pics printed at Walgreens or Wal-Mart or wherever you wish.

To get a great run down on photopass check out http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disneysphotopass/ easily one of the best sites out there. Photopass is definitely a good tool if you use it wisely. Still bring your own camera and have them take pictures with yours too. Not all the photopass CM's are good photographers, and things can happen to pictures so an extra set never hurts. And if you have a MUST HAVE picture, have multiple photopass CM's take it. I.E. the castle has CM's all down main street, stop at a few just to make sure. They all do things differently, and you never know when Sullivan will smile at the same time as the rest of you. They are good about getting interactions with characters at M&G's, and are usually set up to take pictures at the major icons/photo spots, but you will need to take your own pictures everywhere else. Also, don't forget that night shots look very different than day shots, so get both! As a PP said, pre-ordering the CD is the way to go, but you need to get the offer emailed to you now (explained at the above link)

Used the photopass in september. Think we ended up with about 100 pictures or so. It was worth buying the cd considering what they used to charge per picture in the parks
