Phone Charging Stations

You can also leave any phone at guest relations in any of the parks and they will charge it for you, then you can pick it up whenever you like.

I know this is kind of an old thread, but I just wanted to chime in that external battery packs are kind of a must-have for theme park nuts that rely on their smartphones as their primary cameras.

The new-generation charger units are so small they will fit into a man's pocket at the same time as the phone, so you can walk around while you charge and STILL not need a backpack.

Highest recommendation.

Smaller: (and it's a powerful flashlight) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0084Y47SK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good advice about portable chargers. In the absence of official charging stations, there are a variety of places that you can plug a charging cord into the wall. Some that I've used and seen others using - upstairs at Columbia Harbor House in MK, upstairs at Pizza Planet at DHS, and along the back wall of booths at Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcot. No one ever seems to mind, so if you're having lunch at one of these places, or probably some of the other CS eateries, just see if there's an outlet near where you're sitting.

I also will chime in and recommend the portable batteries, I was always looking for outlets at airports and at WDW. Then I discovered the Anker portable battery, they sell them on Amazon. So convenient!! You can walk around and charge your phone without interrupting your vacation.
