PhilharMagic Soft Opening

I was there Friday for NOJ with my school, and saw guests walk out of the 'Exit Only' doors. Me and my three friends sat outside of Philarmagic for 20 min. waiting for someone to let us in for a preview. After we left we went to it's a small world and I asked a CM about the previews, he said unannounced previews have been happening but there probably wont be any tonight. He also said that soft openings begin in 2 WEEKS.

Yes they do start in two weeks.

As of right now, you have a better chance at winning a championship and winning the lotto twice than getting into the show.

I managed to get in there yesterday but they only let in like 20 people and they only did one showing.

"Possible" and I stress that since at those times is when they will be doing Cast Previews and Annual Passholder previews. So I cant really gurantee it will be open for general guest preview.

I was on my way out of Magic Kingdom this afternoon when I caught a preview of Philharmagic! One of the (cue spooky music) *top secret back doors* was opened and a manager was inviting people in the immediate area to come see a sneak preview of the show.

We skipped the queue and entered at the point where you pick up your "opera glasses". (I knew at once that this was my kind of show!) Before guests were allowed into the actual "concert hall", another manager-type person gave a little announcement about the sneak preview. When he jokingly said ".....so don't tell anyone!" the crowd laughed nervously, knowing that this would be all over the internet.

The concert hall was beautiful (in a Disney way.......). I chose a seat next to a group of important-looking cast members. The show was pretty much full..... only about 10 empty seats.

(Skips over the oh-so-tempting spoilers)

The show was amazing! The entire audience seemed to agree. It was beautiful and funny at the same time- very well done. I especially loved the way the screen is disguised as a stage, but as the show progresses the entire screen is visible.

Bravo! Encore!

P.S. Any questions? PM me if you want spoilers..... pictures are coming soon!
