Last week I went to Disneyland Paris. I rode Phantom Manor 36 times. We had a ride evacuation and, alot more ;). I've met Ottar *Voorhees* who is also a member on this board.

We where able to stay at the ride after closing to watch the big fireworks from the Veranda. After that we needed to close the Foyer of the ride :).

Everything of this will be on my website this week www.happy-haunts.com.

We've made more then 350 ride pictures. Here are a few of them ;).
Enjoy!

I love the pictures, the mansion looks very beautiful. I've always wanted to visit the Phantom Manor. I've seen some Phantom Manor websites to look at pictures and it has an elegance that the other Haunted Mansions don't have.
The bride is very scary looking and so is your avatar  .

Where in the mansion is this picture?

I'm very intrigued by Phantom Manor as it definitely is totally different from the Haunted Mansions in the US and Tokyo. It has more of an actual storyline and just overall looks very creepy in comparison.

I'd agree with that. I'd say it is positively scarier than the WDW version, and the story is more noticable (or to us at least).

Does Phantom Manor have fake or real streching rooms (WDW or DL)? I can't remember now!

We (in Phantom Manor) have real Stretch Rooms. We lower like 1 floor and then we walk under the hill behind the house (Portrait Hall) to the actual show building.

Wow!! The HM is my favorite attraction at DL and MK. But HM at DLP looks gorgeous, and definitely looks more creepy. Thanks for the pics.

And don`t forget the music of PM - it has the most beautiful, haunting instrumental score of Grim Grinning Ghosts!

I rode Phantom Manor, I LOVED it. Much different from it's American counterparts. When I was on the line I didn't know that there was any plot difference since I had never seen pictures from inside the ride. I thought it was the same old Haunted Mansion we have grown to love, so everything was a big suprise for me. If any of you ever get the oppertunity to ride this, take it. You will not regret it. This a very creative attraction that is almost similar to one of the original storylines planned for the original Haunted Mansion. It's like getting to experience a ride that never mad it to production. Even the Facade looks identical to the original concept!

Wow, what an amazing site. I loved that ride, it has such a different feel from the other HMs. It made me feel incredibly sad for poor ol' Mel. Thanks for the great memories.

Yes, the DLP version is quite different from the American versions. I would love it for someone to write up a comparison betweent the American and French versions. I downloaded the video of the ride and it was incredible!!
