SMALL update here..
All ive worked on today so far was adding the iron work to the building (which i still need to finish..its too "neat"). Here is a rendering from a closer angel so you can see all the issues I need to fix.
First off the support beams are ALL wrong.
The windows as you can maybe see are actually just really sloppy basic models that resemble the shape of the real thing, but ALL the details are missing.
The door..temporary..I just got a REALLY good pic of the door so i'll prob work on that now.
Stairs..havnt touched em..wrong amount..wrong height..wrong length.
Texture stretching...that's something i'll prob fix last.
Chimney..lacking detail..again..have a nice pic of that so i'll more than likley work on that soon..
Missing row of windows/doors on the right side over there on the bottom..as well as the stairs...
Missing round windows on the sides of the "tower".
The ground is flat..which..for those of us who have been there can tell you that this place is on a lil hill...so i gotta try and figure out the dimensions of that..
Missing every single last lil light thats there. I'll get to it..i swear! :lookaroun
Add to that all the cosmetic details (TONS of them) which arent HARD to add, but have to wait until close to the end so that they will "fit" right (storm drains, siding, foliage)
so yeah...still a LONG way to go.
Its funny cuz I chose this model because I thought it would be sorta easy to do..and the more I work on it the more I realize how wrong I was. I should have stuck to my Spaceship Earth Model, or at least a place where I could go to and take my own reference pics!
