We do want to save but will be bring our dog as he is one of my kids and I dont feel comfortable leaving him so far behind. No, it's not always. But OP said it is in this case.
He can be alone for several hours as he is used to it due to work hours so that is not a problem but due to the severity of my youngest ADHD we may be making multiple trips anywayI would try to find someone to keep him at home, going back to the room that much is going to eat up almost all of your park time, think about it your looking at 90 minutes travel time (to the room, back the park) everytime you go back to the room to check on him, 2 or three times you have eaten up your whole day.

We have used the on-property kennel for 9 years with our 60 pound Shepherd/Chow mix.
We take her for “day care” only and pick her up at night so she can sleep in the room with us.
They stay open until one hour after the last park closes, and you can go visit during the day (we usually take her for a run in their dog park out back if it’s a long park day.)
It’s to the point she gets all excited when we turn onto Bonnet Creek Parkway!
Day care is something like $35 depending on the room you choose and any discounts you have (AP, etc.)
