not sure what forum to put this in so here goes:
my 3 1/2 year old daughter loves Pete's Dragon movie. it was one of my favorite movies growing up. we are going to disney world in november & want to know what all there is for us to see about pete's dragon. ANYTHING!
is elliot still in the electrical parade? do they have t-shirts? rides? please let me know!

Pete's Dragon isn't represented at WDW anywhere. At least not that I know of. I am a HUGE fan of the movie as well. But they have an Eliot float with Pete riding him at the Electrical Parade in California at Disney's Californias Adventure.

Yes, I know. But there are many old films that aren't represented at WDW. You might be able to find an obscure pin or something. My suggestion would be to ask Guest Services when you get there. Maybe they will know of something we don't. Let us know.

I relate well to your dissapointment as you can probably tell by my avatar. I think it would be an awesome addition to Fantasmic! It could incorporate the water elements well and replace the Pocahontas scene which few people particularly care for.

I'm reviving this old thread since I was wondering if now that the Electrical Parade is at WDW whether there is any Pete's Dragon merchandise in the parks. Anyone know? I adore Pete's Dragon!

Well if the ELP is still showing you will see a giant petes dragon up close and personal, there is stuff to buy...pins, and I believe other things in EPCOT..

What's cool is when my Parents went in the late 70's they had a different version of Elliot out during parades..Here's a pic of him in 1977 around Christmas..

I still wish they had the Disney Dragokind statues..I remember seeing this on at the Art of Disney at DTD a few years ago of Elliot..

Has anyone contacted GS67 to see if his 9 1/2 year old daughter still needs to see this stuff. He's probably going to be mad if we don't.

A pin would be terrific! I'll report back after December. We're definitely planning on seeing the ELP finally.

That second picture is most definitely NOT Elliott! I hope he looks more like the authentic first picture in the ELP.

I think I saw a pin on my last trip (September 2011), it was one of an odd combination of seemingly "rare characters" that appared at every pin location (the other two I remember were Roger Rabbit and Mr. Toad). All three were on the lowest end of the coloured price scale they list.

I thought for sure last year when I saw MSEP that Pete's Dragon was represented? I may be wrong? Perhaps it's another dragon character, but there was a boy on top in like a white suit.:confused:

When I was there in Mary I was walking through the pin store in Frontierland I saw a Pete's Dragon pin so I am certain you will be able to find one.
