Although Disney doesn't distribute Dreamworks animated films, it does have a film distribution deal with Dreamworks....I'm just saying that it could happen, nevertheless as I stated that ship has sailed with Frozen going into and next to Norway at Epcot

DreamWorks SKG and DreamWorks Animation are two completely different companies. Any deal between Disney and DreamWorks Animation would have to go through Jeffrey, and that won't happen.

Don't discount the effect of touring guides which all say "Peter pan is super popular do this first thing" which naturally both makes it super popular and sends everyone there at once.

Load rate and the fact that this ride is seriously hampered by FP. This is one ride that FP seems to really hamper and just when the queue seems to be going along at a nice waddle it screeches to a halt to load FP holders and then all that momentum is lost. I am a fan of FP (not FP+) but this ride could do without it.

Popularity is also connected to the nostalgia factor. It's one of the few attractions that guests can connect to an actual Disney movie classic that they remember watching as a kid. And it has the wonder of viewing characters they dont see that often... Hook, Mr. Smee, the Croc, Nana, the Lost Boys etc. And even though the inside needs desperate help, no where else can you ride in a flying ship over London.

Ride capacity for sure is the main reason. That being said, there are a couple of other things. It is to the left after you walk under the castle which is a popular place for people to start. It isn't as if it is hiding away.

Also, my biggest knock against Magic Kingdom as opposed to Disneyland is that they don't keep as many of their classic dark rides. Snow White, Mr. Toad both gone. Peter Pan is still a 1971 original, which people still gravitate towards.

I think a lot of it has to do with ride capacity.. It is a short ride.. but they really can't put a lot of people through it at a time, and it's not like they can add an extra boat like with Pirates or Small World..

They can't add more ride vehicles but they could implement new ones with 2 rows of seats on them. I've stated on several threads about this issue that the system can indeed handle triple the weight capacity. This would greatly slash wait times.

I love the ride system in Peter Pan. Maybe that is what draws the crowds. I waited very very very long for this ride. I could tell other people were suffering in the long line. The added queue scenes of Tinkerbell flying around and creating mischief in the bedrooms were really cool!!! The ride itself, while charming, could use a complete makeover into something really amazing!

Well I have to say, there is little doubt that the answer to my post must certainly be woven somewhere amongst this fine plethora of hypotheses! You guys have definitely given some "not so obvious" (atleast to me) :cyclops: ideas to chew on! Thanks for the help!
