I love traditional Fantasyland Dark Rides. I love the primitive nature of them. It suits the area fine, however I would love to see some upgrades ala Alice in Wonderland at Disneyland.

I'm not in the technology is necessary for a great ride camp. Sure, it's outdated from a technology perspective, but it's just a great ride. It's short, simple, and old...but that's all part of the charm. I know it could be done much better, but you'd lose all the nostalgia and probably gain some unwanted LCD screen or interactive talking Peter Pan.

I can't tell you how much a miss the simplicity and charm of Snow White's Scary Adventure. Is 7DMT really an acceptable replacement? Sure, 7DMT is a better ride by almost any measure, but are you happy the original was closed in favor of it? It's not a knock on 7DMT...I think it's a solid D ticket that's good for the whole family, but I would have preferred it being an addition to rather than a replacement of Snow White.

I'm just saying it's possible Disney messes up a refurb or "plussing" of Peter Pan and I'd just rather them leave it alone. It certainly isn't lacking traffic.

I don't understand how a ride with a continuing movement is always over an hour wait time.
Low capacity unfortunately. Each ship only seats two people and there are only a handful of ships going around at one time unlike Haunted Mansion which has 100 or more cars going a around at a time.

I do not particularly care for the ride, my daughter on the other hand - it's her favorite. We have to ride it, to the point where I always get a fast pass for the ride because it has a crazy wait (90 minutes when we were there in October.)

I've tried to figure out what she loves about it because it is not interactive, not the latest technology, etc - stuff that kids these days are used to and expect. Maybe that is it, because it's not like what they see on a daily basis it's just cool to them. Being simple and all. (I hope I am making some sense)

The last time we rode it was with a 5 year old who hadn't seen Peter Pan - she had only seen Jake and the Neverland Pirates. She and my daughter laughed, yelled to Captain Hook that he was a cod fish, and had the best time. They both wanted to ride it again immediately after getting off. For that reason alone, I think they should leave the ride as is.

I love dark rides, and from what I've seen and heard while in line, it's also one of those father/son first Disney ride thing...I think it could use a refurb and maybe a pooh-like queue, but the last thing we need is to lose another dark ride. Think of how many people have such fond memories of Mr. Toad and/or Snow White...Disney has shown there is plenty of room to stretch so I think we can continue to enjoy it.

I agree. I enjoyed Snow White's Scary Adventures.. There was something different to that ride for me personally.

I probably wouldn't have minded the Snow White ride replacement if we had gotten a new dark ride in place of the original location, rather than a meet and greet..

I think it's just old and tired. So many people love it and the lines are always long. It probably just needs to be cleaned, repainted and maybe a few small items replaced so it doesn't look so worn down.

For me it's a classic. So to change too much would no longer make it a classic. Honestly out of all the non thrill rides at MK this is my wife and I's favorite ride at MK. Could it use a few upgrades? Yes, but nothing to where it changes the ride.

For Me, I would leave it alone because over in Disneyland We learned on the "Walk in Walt's Disneyland footsteps" tour that Peter pans flight was Walt's favorite ride. So leave it be in tribute to Walt.

Yes, in desperate need of an overhaul. One of my favorite rides as a kid. Could use a good cleaning, refurbishing, updates but please keep the charm of the ride. Now if Disney wanted to take that entire area, including stroller alley, and make a completely immersible London to Neverland experience, I'd be there in a minute. You can fly, you can fly, you can fly

I'd definitely say it is overrated. It is way too short of a ride and it needs some major cleaning and major updating to bring it up to speed. I don't think it should go away and I understand why it is a guest favorite, but boy does it need work. I avoid it most of the time.

I think that the missing word throughout this thread is "charming". It doesn't have to be technically advanced. It presents scenes from a film in a comparatively simplistic way, and that's okay with me. Sometimes it's just as much fun for a kid to play with the box that the fancy toy came in.

I feel like I'm always sucked in by this ride. The line looks short so I forego the fast pass and the standing there for hours seriously considering having my tubes tied.
