In all honesty I would like to see something almost like DLP's Skull Rock and ship area on the outside of the building maybe with a water feature.

Yes, I agree, that would be nice, i kinda want it myself... infact really anything would be nice....but the problem is that there is no room for anything!!! Well, very little.

Very true! Even with the new walkways this area still tends to turn into a bottle neck.

Have you read any of the reviews on the already existing interactive queues?

Don't spoil the surprise. . . Tell me!

I'm guessing that some people don't like them? As I suppose I am also wrong about a ride stopping because of a holdup at the interactive elements?

I'm wrong then. Thanks for following up. I do like them myself, but I must be in the minority.

My take on interactive queues (from what I've heard of them, as I haven't really seen any yet):

-It's sad that we live in an age when people have to be entertained any time they have any kind of down time.
-However, the flip side of this is that, I can imagine these interactive components make waiting in line with young kids much more tolerable for their parents, and probably for those immediately around them... if they're not bored, they're less likely to get cranky. The only thing worse than waiting in line for an hour for a two minute ride is having to endure that wait with a family in front of you with a cranky kid. Not fun.
-From what I've read, nothing gets slowed down at all by these interactive parts. People who don't want to experience them simply go around those who are stopping to play. No big deal.

Come to think of it, I did see some of this at Haunted Mansion, and from what I saw it definitely didn't hold up the line because people, as I said, either stopped for the playful parts, or they went around those who had.

All I have to say is Seven Dwards Mine Train. The interactive queue is an absolute nightmare.
