Heard that a permit was filed for Tough to Be a Bug demolition. Seen anything?
Filed two weeks ago: DCA - Golden State Expansion / Pkg 1 - Its Though To Be a Bug - Tenent Improvement: Partial demolition of existing building to include interior/exterior walls, catwalks and associted stairs, ceiling, HVAC, electrical, exterior retaining wall, and removal existing site development.

BLD2018-02032 Disney - Tomorrowland / Star Tours II - Tenant Improvement: New interior 7' high perimeter fence and roof structure in order to accommodate a platform control panel within the pit that is currently located in the ride bay #4 area.

BLD2018-02030 DLH - Convention Center / Sleeping Beauty Pavilion - Tenant Improvement: 2,900 s.ft replacement of existing ceiling with new lighting and mechanical ducts work.

Such a wordy way to say, "New 7' fence enclosure for control panel"

This sounds like Wetzel's Pretzel's is going away and being replaced with something else. They are the sole remaining tenant in the block that is already being remodeled for the new Black Tap restaurant and Ballast Point bar; I wonder if this means the Wetzel's space gets taken over by those new locations for kitchen space, or if this means Wetzel's gets replaced with a new Portland-based hipster snack bar of some sort?

Could you imagine if they managed to surprise us with a third ride in this day and age? That would be truly groundbreaking.
