The story went national this afternoon on CNBC. Apparently the LA Times interns troll this thread, but @SSG deserves all the credit here.

That would be preferable over the Marvel Land they plan on opening. I mean, it couldn’t be any worse.
Yes because with all the concept art and detailed attraction explanations we have received, there can be no other conclusion than that this is the worst themed land in Disney history.
Or not.

This just came up in my real life. I just got out of a meeting with the Mayor, a major developer, and others in regards to Beach Blvd and improving the area. Hopefully bulldozers by the end of the year.

After the meeting, a couple of folks asked me about the news article. I laughed and said it was old news, I knew someone who follows permits issued by the city in regards to the DLR. So big shout out to SSG!

It’s not just the DL forums here that are stellar. I am still reeling from the accurate detective work and conjecture that revealed the skyliner before it was even an unofficial rumor, let alone officially revealed.

Any idea what this is for? Is it the restrooms between Whitewater snacks and the spa? Those are the best restrooms to use - there's almost never anybody in them and they are always clean! (Plus, the A/C is always cranked so it's nice and cool)
Went to Whitewater Snacks for lunch today and those bathrooms are now closed. Hopefully it's just a remodel. 🤞

That sounds dangerous, especially if the experiments were to escape!

But I'm sure there are plenty of safety protocols in place, so nothing to worry about.
