The souvenir tent is a nice addition, but I would not mind one bit if the character meet and greet was removed for something better. Has sit ever been that popular?
It would be much better if they.. Oh, I dunno...Add the character the Silly Sideshow is named after. AKA Pete..I'm still surprised he hasn't arrive in his Sideshow outfit yet. Let alone MK even for MNSSHP...

Yes!!! I always said that they added an extra rare character back there you would have lines out the door! Robin Hood, Zootopia, Kuzco, etc…

Demo the whole thing and build a proper Toontown.

Still hate they removed Toontown fair for this nonsense.
But, even if they kept TTF this long.. There would have been nothing to do Back there....
  • The princesses would still be within the Tent
  • Mickey and Minnie would be at their falling apart houses
  • Donald's boathouse would've been closed for some reason.
  • Goofy 's Barnstormer.........Would still be Goofy's Barnstormer...
  • Pete's Garage would be messy bathrooms.
  • We'd still have Pooh's Playful Spot
  • And Snow White's Adventure would have not closed...

With circuses very much out of fashion I'd be surprised if this part of the park is not on the list for some changes.

What’s to say Runaway Railway wouldn’t have been built here instead of Hollywood Studios?

I’m actually not a fan of Toontown and prefer the circus, but maybe that’s just me. Especially in WDW where there’s less separation from Fantasyland, it’s always felt better. I wouldn’t be totally opposed to changing it to something else entirely, but it does a good job of integrating Dumbo and making better thematic sense of the junior coaster. I’m pretty neutral on updates to it other than figuring out some way to block TRON more effectively.

Well, on the bright side we didn't get the Disney's Faries area that was originally planned.

I think the circus is WAYYYYYYYY better than the half @$$ toontown from before.

The difference between the two? Circus was built to be permanent. Toontown Fair was not.

If we got a version similar to Disneyland’s, I would’ve taken that over the circus slop any day.

Disagree. I actually like the wonky cartoonish proportions of Disneyland's less than the Fair version WDW had. It's kind of okay there because, again, it's more of its own enclave, but it would look weird seeing into that from the rest of Fantasyland in WDW, and I wouldn't like it at all as the arriving point for the Fantasyland train station.
