Studio 407's design involvement at the Living Seas Pavilion is also interesting. They're "bread and butter" is restaurant theming, attraction queues, etc. And we all know the Living Seas is due an interior refresh.

I found a South Florida Water Management District permit today for a partial draining of the lazy river for maintenance purposes.

They need a permit to drain a pool? I understand it is a lot of water, but that is surprising to me. Do smaller resort pools also need SFWMD permits when they are drained temporarily?

De-watering permits are not uncommon, in this case it is probably because of the volume of water. They are estimating 93 million gallons of water over a 150 day period.

Honestly I don't think it's going to be for Reflections rather they extended it for construction staging with the cabins and anything else they want to do in that area.

Is the walkway between FW and the lodge apart of this permit? Because it was paved a week or 2 ago.

One of the documents does say this...

"The construction phase of Application No. 190506-10 is set to expire May 29, 2024. We would like
to request an extension of this permit as construction is not yet complete. This project was shut
down during COVID-19 conditions and therefore delayed the completion of this project. Please
let me know if you have any additional questions regarding this request."

Controversial opinion: take BB down for a couple years and really amplify it to be a premier waterpark. Build a hotel near or attached (Winter Summerland Resort), then, once it’s ready to launch, tear down Typhoon Lagoon and use that land for something better.

There were a bunch of permits for the Epcot Kiosk sites this week. They generally don't need permits to remove Kiosks, and it's a little to early for Food and Wine Kiosks. Maybe just general upgrades to the sites in perpetration for F&W?

I would guess the same. After two years of non-stop festivals, this is the opportunity for infrastructural repairs, upgrades and replacements.

And with new seemingly permanent kiosks throughout World Fairs Lands, it'll be interesting to see if any of the old kiosks wind up getting the boot or moved.
