People Mover between EPCOT and MGM

Just another one of my crazy ideas...

How about installing a peoplemover system along the walkway between International Gateway at EPCOT, stopping at The Disney Baordwalk and continuing to Disney-MGM. The rights of way are alreeady cleared and the path is relatively short in distance so it shouldn't be horribly expensive to build....

If Disney built this, the two parks would be connected and they they could sell more expensive EPCOT-MGM combo tickets.

That's a pretty cool idea, actually. It but yea it would never work, what if it broke down, then the mechanic would have to walk alway down that track, and fix it. What if someone got off during the ride? It would just be kind of confusing to do.

I'm not sure how a Peoplemover would look in the Boardwalk area. It's an interesting idea, but I think it would just clash too much with the theming (which I already love exactly the way it is).

They could make the cars themed certained colors are styles, and even shapes to help it "fit" in.

As far as it breaking down and people walking on the tracks, how do they handle this problem with the monorail system? I'm sure such a problem could have a solution.

As far as buses, there USED to be trams on this route, but the trams were canceled when the Boardwalk opened. So, as of now, we only have the pedestrian walkway and the boats.
