I love flushing bugs. CP housing has introduced me to the oh so lovely centipede.
Yes. That's why I dispose of them down the toilet. Those suckers can swim so you have to make sure they go all the way down.Don't they stink when you squash them?
I looked up "biting bugs in Fl". There were pictures of at least four that look like your description. Check it out.Took family to the Disney Wilderness Preserve and these very black, solidish-looking, triangular bugs that were a little larger than a pencil eraser were on our legs. We could brush them off, but if we didn't, they just hung out on our legs. Even as we'd walk along, they'd just stay put.
We don't know if they flew on or crawled up, but they got as high as the lower thigh and didn't concentrate on ankles. They weren't really on the front of anyone's legs, though. Just the back.
We didn't feel any biting, much less stinging.
But the bites showed up later that night and the next morning. They look like mosquito or spider bites, but itch a whole lot more! The itchiness began 24-36 hours later and just kept getting worse.
They kind of looked like little stealth bombers.
Anyone have any idea what these things were?
That's a spider.Perhaps it's this? Someone found this near Cooper City, FL, but nobody can figure out what it is.
