People falling off floats

I never saw anyone actually fall off, but during Spectromagic in Oct. 2003, Snow White got blasted with the steam that shoots out from under the floats. It was actually pretty funny because she was like right next to where the steam comes out and got a face full of it. She then ran back to be with the Dwarves. I might have a picture, but I don't know.

On the "friends" subject - I agree. We're all big boys and girls here, and for those who are younger, I'm sure that if they wanted to maintain the magic, they'd go to the official WDW site and not a discussion board where secrets are revealed, real-life subjects are discussed and we confirm that, YES, there are real people inside character costumes - GASP!!! If the kiddies are old enough to get on the internet, have a login here, and can discuss subjects, they should be well adapted to this fact - I hope!

Guess when they started doing that? Or at least adding it to many more floats.

Chip and Dale have always been tethered in there...at least as long as I've worked at WDW. Now, most characters are tethered in parades, except for DSMC

in 1994, this one parade in Magic Kingdom(Mickey Mania) we have this on video but i cant post it since its from back then from my own camcorder, this guy on a skateboard, this float had a ramp, so he was gonna go down and as he went he fell off his skateboard, he didnt get run over or hurt so nothing really seriously happen, he just fell, kinda funny :lol: but thats all i ever saw anyone falling from a float

I thought that the charaters were attacted to the floats. I watched this specail on the Disovery channel about it. They have a belt that you can't really see and they are attacted to the float..

Yes, there are. But you can see the belts sometimes. If I find any pics where you can see that, I'll post it
