They were in perfect order when I was there (Thursday). This was the first time I have seen them like this in many years. They rose and sunk during the performance; the swivvelled around to look at different parts of the theater, and jiggled when laughing. Of course their canon was very gloriously and patriotically working! As reported before, the chef was working. In addition to the bubbles, and all the other little touches, it seemed to be in great shape. I was pleasantly surprised. On a side note - many years ago, after you exitted the threater, was the fire truck sticking through the wall? I mean a life size real version. Or is my memory playing games with me? My only peeve with the movie is with Sweetums. At the end he is walking around the theater and in the movie at the same time.

On side notes:

- The chickens at Splash Mountain were all working fine.
- COP figures were working better (but not perfect) than last time. My last trip the dad looked like a ventriliquist.
- Nemo's angler fish was working.
- The Yetti...well he was there.

PS.: I love looking for hidden Mickeys. While searching the Muppets lobby, I found a NY Giants Jersey hanging amongst the costume rack. Was it always there? Or was it placed there for a the Super Bowl as an easter egg?

The fire truck was displayed as you exit but never displayed as it ripped through the theater. But, now it is in the Vehicle boneyard in the Backlot tour.

I too also notice 2 Sweetums at once..And I'm surprised they have that happening and wonder why they didn't realize this.

Thanks for the report. Glad to know ALL of the effects are working...finally!

And no, they never had a fire truck hanging out the back of the building...but that would be an awesome touch. They could have a false brick wall with an opening that goes into blackness, with the actual building wall behind that.

It's stuff like that which sets Disney apart. Little gimmicks that don't serve any purpose other than to amuse and take you deeper into the story. We need more of that.
