Steak is easy to mess up, just overcook it!
This was my concern as well. I was tempted to order it when I first saw it on Sunday but had second thoughts because of the steak. I knew it was going to be a cheep cut that would more than likely come out medium well at best. A cheep cut can be passable if it never goes past medium rare, but the second you do, the toughness seems to increase exponentially.

Come On.

No Scallops is easy to mess up,as is fresh Tuna steaks, and Duck breast, but steak. All you do is get the griddle pan hot, light veg oil on the steak, not the pan,and there you go.The overcooked steak is one you haven't been watching.:wave:Bon Apetit.

True.

Steak all depends on the type of meat. I wouldn't buy a steak at a fast food restaurant.

Totally true, you only get what you pay for. Here in the UK there's entrecôte,fillet, rump, etc. But I went to a steakhouse on I-Drive on my first visit eight years ago and was jaw dropping at the various cuts like New York Strip,Kansas,Porterhouse, etc.Took me 30 minutes to make up my mind.:slurp:

You can't expect too much in terms of quality from counter service, but in terms of quantity, this could be a good use of a CS credit on the DDP. It's easier for 2 people to split this than to split anything else on Pecos Bill's menu.

Hmm.

Now I understand why the Scotts love their whiskey :sohappy:

however, if you used a Dalmore 64 trinitas,, I think that would ruin the whiskey:animwink:

Iam a Islay malt man. That smokey seaweed aroma and long lingering after taste blows me away.A 16 yr old Laphroaig on a cold night is the best night cap you can get.:slurp:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Josh (at EasyWDW) reviewed that meal earlier this week. He proclaimed it inedible.
The pork was meh, the cornbread was raw batter in the middle, the corn was horribly overdone, and the steak more closely resembled leather than actual meat.
He proclaimed that regardless of when you read his review, he will probably still be chewing that hunk of meat.
Sometimes it's better to go for quality rather than quantity.
Better off walking over to CHH and having the fried shrimp platter, the lobster roll, or the best tuna sandwich in the universe.

I love being able to fix my dogs my way, plus they are quite good! Sit outside& listen to the piano guy or inside on a bleacher watching old cartoons. Love it! The old cracker jacks are cool too!:)
Yep, with the lack of really good Table service Id just as much prefer Caseys..or a Taco salad from Tortugas
