I was at the MK this morning and stopped by Peco Bills to try the new Angus Burger. It is no longer just a trial run and is a permanent item on the menu board. The #2 meal is a normal 1/3 lb. Angus Burger with fries and the #3 meal is the Deluxe 1/3 lb. Angus Burger with bacon, bbq sauce and an onion ring with fries. They were better than the normal burgers but not as good IMO as McDonalds new Angus Burgers. They werent much more expensive than the bacon double cheeseburgers elsewhere on property. Sorry no pictures as I didnt have my camera. Hopefully this is a sign of better CS options to come at the MK.

I gotta say if you think McDonalds makes a better hamburger then I am not interested in the Angus Burger.
Not Mcdonalds normal hamburgers, their new deluxe angus burgers. Beco Bills have a toasted bun that was VERY crispy. They arent bad but it isnt so good that I will be rushing back to have another meal there. Magic Kingdom CS options are pathetic right not but this is a step in the right direction.

I had the angus burger over the weekend and while it is not a 5 guys burger is is definitely better than what was there before.

mmm...Five Guys!!

Now if only the fries were as good as Five Guys fresh cut fries...
So do I but there is a big issue with fresh cut fries in a Disney mass production setting....the have a half life of about 10 minutes from oil to plate before they turn into mush. The frozen pre-blanched fries last much longer under a heat lamp.

We just got our first Five Guys here last year, and I gotta say I wasn't impressed. Fuddruckers though, YUM! :slurp:

I haven't eaten at Pecos Bill's in a while but I'll definitely stop by there on my next trip to try these out.

They need an In-n-Out burger place at WDW, probably at DTD.
Love that burger place but they only seem be in CA and Las Vegas.

Or The Varsity.
Lived across the street from the Varsity in Atlanta for 4 yrs.

Or a Krystal.
Finally got one here but it's down the road a piece.

:)

How about we just make PI burger row with a 5 guys, Fudrucker's, In and Out, Fat Burger and a Krystal/Whitecastle?

Only if we can have regional ones as well.

My original idea for PI was along those line. I would like Disney to take a trip around the US visiting all of those one of a kind restaurants and recreate them down to the last detail on PI.

The Disney fries used to have a hold time of 5 minutes. Not sure if that's still the case or not.

Burger Island.

Add a place for a fast and bad desert like Kryspy Kreme or Dunk'n doughnuts.

:slurp:
We have an independent league baseball stadium around here that serves a bacon cheeseburger with a Krispy Kreme doughnut as the bun. No joke. Talk about artery clogging! Take a look at this thing:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/06/03/broadcasts/main1680067.shtml

After doing a google image search for "krispy kreme burger," it's clear that this stadium isn't the only one with that idea. Wow.
