I thought that Disney had banned Peanut Butter across property because of the risk of exposing little Johnny/Jane to a potential deadly allergic reaction.

No....Disney has not announced any plans to do this. Perhaps you are thinking specifically of Ghiradelli? They just axed all their peanut products across the board.
