Peak Crowds WDW vs DLR

We used to go to both WDW and DLR once a year - usually WDW during summer vacation and DLR during our Feb. break (which we no longer get). But, since 2005, we've only been visiting WDW. I miss DLR and would like to return there for our next Disney vacation. I'm wondering how their spring break/summer crowds compare to WDW. I'm trying to decide how many days I need to allow. So, those of you who have been to both lately, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

DL will be very crowded during spring break and summer. When locals are out of school, the parks are packed.

If you do go to DL during a busy time, get there at rope drop, stay for 6 hours, take a break and come back in the evening. I would say 5 days during the crowded time would be fine.
