Peace and Quiet

Behind the UK pavilion in Epoct when the band is not playing is extremely quiet and peaceful. In MK, the walkway from Storybook Circus to Tomorrowland is nice too. AK has a ton of quiet walking trails near the tree of life as well as in the oasis.

Sounds Dangerous was always a fantastic place to kick back and, well, nod off. TGMR isn't necessarily quiet, but it can be a nice change of pace too.

MK: Tom Sawyer Island or the path behind Speedway
Epcot: By Universe of Energy and behind the UK pavilion
DHS: Streets of America or the Writer's Shop
AK: Rafiki's Planet Watch (although I rarely go there)

Most of the smoking sections are pretty tranquil. If your toting kids, I understand that it may not be ideal but a lot of times you can find one that no one is at. For example the smoking section by UoE in EPCOT or just about any of them in AK. Just a thought.

Columbia Harbour House is a favorite right by the windows overlooking the underpass. EPCOT's Japanese pavillion garden and living with the land ride. Sci-fy diner in the studios has great food and it's been a very quiet restful place every time we've eaten there. The Maharaja (sp?) jungle trek is a great peaceful place to just relax and take in the scenery.

As I mentioned Before the Innoventions West Hallway (Prior to them moving Epcot Character Spot for their Refurb) It's comfortable and I like listening to the Innoventions Loop in there..

Find a rocking chair on Tom Sawyer Island and you are have the perfect resting spot. Its where I like to go while everyone else rides IASW and HoP.

There is nowhere to sit, but the Stave Church in Epcot is usually empty, air conditioned, and has some Lord of the Rings/Skyrim music quietly playing for a quick recharge.

This used to be my favorite spot to watch the afternoon parade from afar. Something soothing about rocking. Ahhh....

If you explore the Morocco pavilion and go all the way to the back it is really quiet and has that lovely mosaic fountain.

As long as I can grab a seat somewhere, that is all I need. I too like to people watch.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, can beat a ride on the TTA Peoplemover during off-peak season. It is SOOO relaxing, especially at night.

For Epcot I would say Imagination, as I have never seen it crowded and it's usually quiet.

AK I would say the little pathways over by Nemo.

DHS, I would say that the LMA area is pretty empty when there's not a performance.

Hah! My first thoughts were towards resorts...there are a ton of favorite quiet places in each of them!

But in the parks, there are few places that are nice...

The bathrooms near TOT are always pretty quiet. There's a bench there that's out of the way, that's perfect for people watching.

In the outdoor area of that restaurant in Adventurland (whose name escapes me just now)...unless it's at mealtime, it's usually pretty quiet.

There used to be a nice bench in the preshow area of Ellen's Energy, that was kind of out of the way, and near an exit.

The wall in the garden in Canada.

I am trying to remember the places I went with my spouse. He likes to take things slow, and sit and relax and watch things for a while.

My mom and I never stop on our trips!

For me it is the second story of the Columbia Harbor House on the bridge that kinda separates Liberty square from Fantasyland. Its a nice small space with a few tables. I can look out at the crowds in liberty square or fantasyland and know that I am relaxing away from those crowds.
