I'm going to be a contrarian here and say that I find the most peace in the middle of a large crowd. I like just sitting back and people watching, that is all it takes for my brain to fade off for a little bit and recharge.

I know it's not exactly what you asked but our most peaceful moments are when we skip the madhouse exodus for the buses and take a taxi from a park at the end of the day to our resort. It's so incredibly quiet after the maddening herds. Worth every penny.

Rose Garden in Magic Kingdom

Any of the the "Art of Disney" stores. My DH says every year "this is the year we are going to start collecting". And then we are in the store and looking at the prices and decide maybe next year. Now that we just moved into our "forever home", trust me after a kitchen remodel and everything else we did this is it!, he says we are 100% buying our first piece of Disney art in August.

Hatter if you walk up Main Street USA off to the right of castle is the Rose Garden. You can walk thru and at the bottom are some benches and some beautiful views. Mom and Dad had their vow renewal here, very sweet and quiet space.

On our last trip, I found the Baby Centers to be a nice place to escape from all hussle in the parks. I would also say World Showcase has many tranquil areas if you go through and explore each pavilion.
