Paying with your Room Key Card

Hello!

Question:

Everytime we've gone to WDW before and stayed onsite we always take advantage of linking our credit card up with our room key for easy (and impulsive) shopping around the world.

On our next trip though I will be short my credit cards (the evil things have met my scissors), and Im wondering...Can you just dump a pile of cash or travellers checks down at the time of check in and they will credit that amount to your "room account" this allowing you to still use the room key for purchases?

Yes, you can, but you may need to go to the front desk to settle up before checking out (express check out only works with credit cards). Better yet, convert that cash to a pre-paid credit card

Get a prepaid CC.. That way you don't have to carry around Lots of $$$...Even if it does feels good having cash.

Oh yes - Disney will gladly accept your cash as well as credit cards etc

Yes, you absolutely can set up a room charge with cash or travelers checks or Disney Dollars or Disney gift cards. A credit card is NOT required in any way.
