Paying OOP While on DDP

I'll be using the DDP for my December trip. I plan on having lunch at BoG (hopefully!) but don't want to use one of my dining credits there. Can I still use my Magic Band to pay or will that subtract credits instead of charging to my room?

Can I be nosy and ask why? It is one of the most expensive QS meals offer in the parks and therefore the biggest bang for you buck while on the DDP.

If the QS meal is under $10 (not including drink/dessert). Like an $9.49 burger.

We always get the chicken and ribs at Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom. Its big enough to share. On the DDP we usually get two and share between three people, but we have never spent out of pocket before. Where do you get the "best bang for your buck" when paying cash out of pocket?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
I'm doing the deluxe plan so using a credit on a QS meal would not be a good choice.

Doing the QS you want will not hurt you really. We usually do 6-7 QS with Deluxe plan on a 12-13 day trip and all the lovely restaurants we want and we still break out even at least. Do not worry about paying your QS out of pocket and just use some of your credits. It sounds like you will not be doing many QS anyway. Your not going to lose a ton of money doing some or any at all. When we do the Deluxe instead of the regular plan the reason is so we do not have to pay ANYTHING oop except alcohol on occasion. You can always downgrade to the regular plan if you are going to pay all QS out of pocket on the deluxe. There is a lot of great QS we would never want to miss on each trip as well as our fave TS locations. If you are so worried to get the most bang for your buck that can make the dining plan especially the deluxe plan not worth it and not fun. Just my opinions! :)

This trip is at the tail end of our cruise, so we are only staying at WDW for 2 nights. We already have ADRs using all of our credits (all character meals), so it would definitely be a better choice to use our credits on those rather than BoG. Thanks for the input, though.

Yes you are correct! Lol Totally understand with so few nights!
That's why I said it depended on the nights you were staying. I would pay OOP in that case too. :)
