Passholder parking during blockout

I guess I had read that the parking fee was also to discourage park guests from parking at resorts for free than hopping on busses and go to parks. If that's true than why penalize overnight guests and still allow day guests to park for free?

A good reason to disbelieve what you originally read, and to suspect anything coming from that source.

Yes you can park at the TTC and the other parks on blackout dates. We do it all the time. Just did it last weekend at Epcot, cause I have a family member who works at Disney, so we drove ourselves and parked inside the parking lot and met them up by the flag pole ish to get us in for free. We did it to watch the 3rd of July fireworks at the Contemporary also. So you should be good.
