Did anybody else go to the Epcot passholder lounge ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday morning? If not, it was a nice little party. First, the "representatives" were introduced. A little girl represented the young guests. A couple called the "Lounge Lizard" and "The Mayor" represented the passholders. (they had been to the lounge every day since it opened) Then Brad Rex, the new vice president of Epcot, gave a short speech. When it was time for the ribbon to be cut, the scissors couldn't be found! Of course, Mickey came just in time with an oversized pair of scissors. (corny but cute.) Mickey also brought a bucket of "pixie dust" for the little girl to throw. After the party, I spent about 3 more hours in the longe talking to people, visiting the characters, and relaxing.
