When the dates and times for the Boo Bash came out yesterday, I was wondering how these times would work around the HEA times - of course assuming by August 10th, we will have the show running every night at least until October 1st.
I have been to 5 After Hours at MK since 2018 - here are the schedules for each day we went:
Mar 1 2018:
Magic Kingdom Showtimes - Thursday, March 1, 2018 (touringplans.com)
Close time: 9pm
HEA: 7:55
AH: 9pm
August 4 2018:
Magic Kingdom Showtimes - Saturday, August 4, 2018 (touringplans.com)
Close time: 10pm
HEA: 9:15pm
AH: 10pm
December 3 2018:
Magic Kingdom Showtimes - Monday, December 3, 2018 (touringplans.com)
Close time: 10pm
HEA: 9pm
AH: 10pm
June 27 2019:
Magic Kingdom Showtimes - Thursday, June 27, 2019 (touringplans.com)
Close time: 10pm
HEA: 9:15pm
AH: 10pm
Feb 24 2020:
Magic Kingdom Showtimes - Monday, February 24, 2020 (touringplans.com)
Close time: 9pm
HEA: 8pm
AH: 9pm
So we can see on these 5 times, the After Hour event was scheduled NO earlier than 45 minutes after Happily Ever After was scheduled to start - and both those times was when the park closed at 10pm to the public.
Looking at a past AH event on September 12 2019:
Magic Kingdom Showtimes - Thursday, September 12, 2019 (touringplans.com) HEA started at 9:15pm, the park closed and AH started at 10pm ... obviously those times don't match the Boo Bash events scheduled in September ... so I have to think, in order for there to be a minimum 45 minute gap between HEA starting and the AH event starting, MK would have to close and HEA would have to start at 8:45 on the 9:30pm Boo Bash events and 8:15 on the 9pm events.
Am I over thinking this?
