I was also very worried about doing the Daves vacation rental but read review after review and decided I had to at least try because I am also traveling with 6, however my party is me, my mom, my husband and 3 kids ages 15, 13 and 6. So essentially its like having 5 adults and a kid. The price for an AOA room was going to be around 2600 but with a fold down bed and a fold out bed I was nervous about us being comfortable. So I used Daves and got a 2bdr with 3 baths a full kitchen and washer and dryer for 3400. We haven't gone yet, 82 days! but so far I am really happy I opted to do this. It was much cheaper than renting through disney (I don't understand the people saying you don't save money) and Im thrilled to get to stay at AKL Kidani Village, Ive always dreamed of staying there and thanks to Daves I can afford this. I would recommend the OP really look into this option.
