Party may be seated at more than one table?

I just booked Breakfast at Cape May for the 3 of us, (me, hubby, 4 year old). I noticed at the top of the reservation confirmation it says "Please Note that your party may be seated at more than one table", I've never noticed this before on any of my other reservations. Why would they do this with just the 3 of us? If anything I would rather us all sit together and she sit on one of our laps, would this be allowed?

I would not worry this came up on nearly all our ADR's this year and multiple ADR's in 2010 and not once did it happen, they are not going to split up to adults and a child I think this is more aimed at big groups but it is posted for all ADR's

That's for big groups. They won't split up a party of 3. LOL.

When a group of 20 of us went to HDDR a few months ago, they had 12 of us at one table and 8 at the other.

Never had any issues with a party of 3. When we traveled with another family, there were 8 of us, and we were separated only a handful of times and even then the tables were next to each other. Regardless, with only 3 in your party, I wouldn't worry. :)

"Sorry Ma'am, your two year old must sit at the table across the room from you as other people may have already been seated at your table."

That would go over really well.
personally, after a long day at disney.............i might be happy about this. "just take good care of him guys, let us know when he's done"

LOL -- when I made my ADRs for Narcoossee's party of 10, the CM told me she might have to split it into a table of 8 and table of 2. I said "Nice!! The (multiple sets of) grandparents can get the kids, and my husband and I can have a nice quiet dinner for two." ;)
