i'm looking for chunks of my two favorite rides of all time, 20k and horizions. not to own, but just to find in other attractions. i am aware of the horizions symbol in mission: space, but are there any parts elsewhere? i heared that some of the a.a.s made it to be underwater in "the living seas" but that is not confirmed. can anybody confirm or deny this so-called "fact"? if so, please, please, please post on this thread.

I heard there is a ship from 20k at Disneys Island Castaway Cay and that there is an imprint of one of the ships in the rocks at the new Pooh playground where 20k was.

The Solosub and Desert Hovercraft from Horizons are on show at WDSP tram tour. Have a look in my photo album http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/showphoto.php?photo=13102&ppuser=6710

That's kinda weird, i guess they needed something to put on a "backlot" tour of a studio that didn't actually have any real studios or history. Seems kinda silly to ship something all the way from Florida to France just to sit out in the sun to rot though.

One of the subs from 20,000 Leagues (or at least a perfect replica) also made its way to Tokyo DisneySea, just sitting leisurely in the small lagoon near their current 20,000 Leagues ride.

There is, like napnet said, a tiny impression of one of the submarines from 20k in the Pooh playground where the attraction used to be. If you go inside the treehouse (yes, the one made for children), it's inside, at about adult eye level right over one of the doors. Tiny, but still a nice relic.

20k spot in pooh

well, it's not THAT small. I just got back from a week-long trip to wdw and i saw the imprint first-hand. it is about 3" long and 1" tall you can tell it's a nautilus though, as it has the distinctive shape. also, around mission: space, there are a number of the glass pebble "stars" from the space diarama scene of horizons. also, in addition to the gravity wheel, i think the space ship hanging from the ceiling in the preshow thingamajig is from horizons too. anyhoo, peace out \^^/ \/
