Partial Stays at Disney Resorts

Originally we were going to stay the whole trip this fall at a Disney resort. But that is making less and less sense as planning goes along. We will be driving from Tennessee and using a car. My mother has a weeks rental including with her time share we can use for free. So paying to stay all those days doesn't make any sense. I don't want to pay for a nightly parking fee when I don't have to and I'm an AP so I won't have to pay at the parks.

I do want to stay a night or two though for the benefits. If we only stay 2 nights can we still book out 60 days in advance for our fastpasses?

I'm kinda bummed about not being able to have purchases delivered to our hotel but that is easy to get over when I see how much we can save.

Anything else I'm not taking into account?

That would work for us. We'd just book our hard to get fastpasses like FOP for those first 2 days and wait til the 30 day mark for the rest.

FoP and Slinky are still hard to get at much before 60+3, which would be your 4th day. Just so you’re aware of that.

You’d get three days of FPs by booking 2 nights.
