Partial Refund?

We have booked and paid for a trip coming up February 16-20. One of the people in our party will not be attending. Can we get a refund for that person if she does not go?

Possibly. It will all really depend on the CM you talk to. Officially, Disney has I believe a $50 change fee and a $200 cancellation fee for packages.

You will most likely get stuck paying the $50 change fee and will be refunded the difference.

I would call Disney ASAP and find out exactly what the damage will be.

Just to let everyone know. We will be able to get the refund minus the $50 and it will have to go through the travel agent that booked the trip. So fingers are still crossed.

True, but the $200 is only if you cancel the entire package. Just dropping a guest from the reservation may only trigger the $50 change fee.

If airfare is involved, you would need to deal with their cancellation rules.

no flights involved. they only charged the $50 fee and we get back $411.16 I think was the exact number.

It goes up in the sense it goes from $0 to $50 once you get within the 45 days for a package.
