Partial payments online?

Can you make a partial payment online for a room only (passholder discount) reservation or do you have to call in (and go through the 80 million prompts)? I can't seem to find that option anywhere!

Yup. I'm looking at it (along with my ADR's) right now, but don't see an option to pay them any money (which is odd, because Disney loves taking my money!!:ROFLOL.

I think online will only allow the deposit since it is a room only. You may be stuck calling it in. Another thing you can do is buy yourself a Disney gift card and use that as payment for your room nights.

Thanks. That's kind of annoying because I hate their phone system....it takes forever to get to an operator, and if I am anywhere but a completely locked, sealed off room (difficult to find here in NYC!), the voice recognition picks up random noises in the background.

I know when I've booked packages, I always call to reserve, but I will make my payments online. I've never had a problem doing it online. They did take partial payments. The minimum payment was $20, but again, I always book packages. I don't know if that would make a difference.

Here is a case where using a Travel Agent would help - just email or call the travel agent, say "please make a payment of $x on my card ending in xxxx", and you are done. Travel Agents have a different line to reservations, and we have extremely few phone prompts.

I just made a partial payment. When you pull up your reservation, across the top there will be a "reminder". It will show how much you owe. Click on the reminder. It will take you to a page that will ask if you want to make a partial payment or pay the balance. The partial payment will show as $20. Click the $20 partial payment. When you scroll down you will be able to change this amount and make whatever payment you want to.

Room only reservations you have to call in. It is all automated though you don't have to speak to a live person. Its pretty easy.
