Parks Packed?

Thinking of going sometime between 12/10 and 12/25. Are the parks busier during the first week? It looks like the Christmas Party's are all that week, do they do that to get more people??

The closer to Christmas, the more people generally. The week between Christmas and New Year's is historically the busiest week of the year, and they don't all show up on the 25th, obviously.

I was there tonight at Magic Kingdom, it was a friggin ZOO! My Dad also works front desk at the Polynesian, and he said it's just been insane, so many rooms sold out that they've had to move people to Grand Fla and Contemp to accomodate everyone. Expect it to be VERY busy, Mickey's Very Merry X-Mas Party is sold out already on the 17th.
