Parking at parks

We are driving for the first time in June and staying at Coronado springs. I just read that you can not park at MK. I never realized this since we have always flown and used the buses.

My question is on MK days is it easier to drive to the transportation center and monorail or should we just use the Coronado springs bus?

Also is it better to drive to the other parks and park since the lots are right there?

I have always felt parking at the TTC and deciding which to take to MK, ferry or monorail, is part of the fun of the day. We usually take ferry over and monorail back, just for the heck of it. Since we always drive, we almost always drive to each park, except when at WL, when we take the boat, or when staying at a BW resort when we always walk or boat to Epcot and DHS. Have always driven to AK so can't offer any insight about bus vs. driving there.

We find it faster to use the buses, but the monorails/ferries are part of the fun.

If you are going for early EMHs, be sure to take the bus. We went for EMHs via our own car a couple years ago and they wouldn't let us into the TTC until the EMHs started. By the time we got over to MK it was 30 minutes into EMHs, and other people who took the buses were already in the park and having fun.

If I were leaving before closing (or near-closing), knew I was not going to want to stop anywhere else and was only interested in what was fastest, I would take the bus to the MK. I might avoid early-morning, too, when the busses are crowded.

That said, I almost always drove it.
