Ok, I know this question isn't directed at WDW, but I figured that I could ask here. Im looking at getting 1annual pass for WetnWild, and 1buy a day, get the rest of the year free for wetnwild (for my girl, Im going to suprise her), and I was curious, whats the percent for sales tax for park tickets, isn't it like 7%?

Doing caculations with the 7% tax, a annual is 68$, and a buy a day, get the rest of year free is 48.99 together is 116.99, but dividing that total by .07 (7%) gives me 8.18$ tax, and when added to 116.99, it comes out to 125.18

I ask this too because I also plan on saving up for a Universal AP, and might possibily buy a 1day, 1park ticket for my girl for disney soon, and would like to know how sales tax works with park tickets so I can do my calcuations right before I show up with the money.

The fine-print on Wet n' Wild's ticket web site says it is 6.5%.

*Rate does not include 6.5% Sales Tax. Cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Offer subject to change without notice.

In FL sales tax is 6% to the state, and then each county and city gets to add their own on top (it's called "local option sales tax"). That might be why you thought it was 7% - probably that's what it is in the Disney area, which is not in the same taxing authority as WnW or USF.

Actually if you divided by 7% you'd get $1,671.29.

But I know what you meant. :p

The easiest way to figure out the total with tax is to multiply by 1.065.
