MK is currently out of park reservations for this date (for obvious reasons). Park capacity will certainly be increased leading up to this date, and with it, the number of reservations available. When this happens, will guests with a resort reservation get the first opportunity to grab the park reservation slots?

The way I understand the park reservations is that there are tiers, and resort stayers are in a special tier than those that are not. If they increase reservations, they increase the tier volume. So to say you would get first 'crack' would not necessarily be true unless Disney decided to increase the volume on a specific tier, which easily could happen and makes sense to do. I don't remember if DVC members have their own special tier, but I know that resort guests, APs and off-site guests had their own tiers, at least last December. Open to being corrected naturally by Disney pro's
