I will be returning to Disney World this May, 5 years since my last trip. I would love to hear from anyone who has been to the parks in the past few weeks or is there currently what is going on with each attraction and the parks as a whole. I love details and would love just like reports of anything you have noticed about certain attractions or things that have changed recently. Cant wait to hear from everyone!
Thanks!

I agree with the others, that is a pretty broad question. Many, if not all, of the questions are either already discussed or in discussion as we speak. However, just a word of warning. The vision you will get of "today's" WDW will vary greatly depending on who is answering. You will hear everything from "Except for the new construction currently in process, it is in great shape" to "it's all garbage, Disney has quit caring and the place is falling apart."

My advice is to not ask the questions. Why set yourself up for disappointment or more elation then is warranted. It has it's problems, but, for the most part, if you haven't been there for awhile, you won't notice most of them. If you had a good time the last time you were there, there is no reason to think that you won't this time. The biggest change is in the FastPass system. Read up on the 'How too' Stickies at the beginning of the threads and get to know the procedures. There is no reason to go looking for problems. You will find somethings changed, some you will like and some you won't, but, that shouldn't be allowed to totally define your entire trip before hand.

There will always be some sort of construction at WDW, which does take away from some of the beauty. There are some parts of the parks that do need attention. For the most part though, it is still a magical place. Try not to be too "nit-picky" and enjoy your experience. The world has really changed even in the past 8 years!

Make sure you find out all about Fastpass+ if you haven't already.
If you are looking for one new thing, as reported on here. The lobby at the Poly is new. Last time I went there they were playing Hawaiian music...Heard Tiny Bubbles...that song always makes me smile.:) Even if you are not a fan, (I liked it)...it's fun to check it out. And drink at Trader's Sams might just be what you are looking for. They also have a new bar terrace outside, where you can get a non-alcoholic drink as well.
