I hope this is ok to ask:cautious: but who do you all use to plan your park days? I know there are 2 big sites out there, one that is free, one that isn't. And from what I have read, the free one is not so great now with FP+ and the difference in the crowds and wait times. Is that true? I'd like to use one of those sites to plan my days, and free seems better, but is it?

I subscribe to Touringplans.com and they are pretty much spot on. The subscription is very inexpensive and well worth it. It not only can do touring plans for you but also gives you crowd numbers through the year so you can determine your dates better. Regarding the touring plans they give you an array of options from doing Magic Kingdom with adults only, to MK with toddlers, MK with teens etc etc per park. I love them and highly recommend them.

Both sites are good and give very similar touring advice/plans.

Both sites are also in flux right now because Fastpass hasn't been around long enough (and because the "rules' have changed several times) for them to make reliable predictions. Both have done the best they can and are incorporating new information all the time.

I read both frequently, but I subscribe to touring plans because: (1) it may not be free, but it's cheap -- I bought a copy of the Unofficial Guide a couple of years ago and got a big discount on a 3-year-subscription; and (2) I can use touringplans to make customized, computer-optimized touring plans that incorporate all of my existing ADRs and Fastpasses and which include only the attractions I want.

I too am using Touring Plans. I am just using the basic free subscription, but I do like how I'm able to make my own plan with the free version that still optimizes what I'm doing and helps me to get everything in.

We've read Unofficial Guide at least 3 times cover to cover and own two different editions of it. Also have read two editions of the Passporter Guide. We use some of the plans in both, but end up making our hybrid plans each visit. FP figured highly in our plans and now FP+ will as well. I don't think it will highly alter our touring, but will make for a little less park-crossing in the morning.

I've used both and think touring plans is better.
