You won't see any late hours during october really...Columbus weekend might give you a little extra, but not too much. Don't expect anything passed 8-830 for the MK and Studios. AK and Epcot will be their normal times.

Actually, when my dad went to WDW in October MK was open until 10:00. Now he went on a Friday and was there the weekend of the golf tourney (Funai Classic). Also, MGM and Epcot were both open until 9:00. I don't know exactly why it was open a little longer but it was.

Not to mention Evening Extra Magic Hours if youre staying on property. The parks stay open three hours late for resort guests. We did it a few weeks ago and it's an amazing opertunity.

I called park relations and they said that they didnt have that information yet. they said that there are no black-out dates for the CM comp tickets (which I think is weird, we got turned down once useing them saying it was a black out date) and she said that even with thoes tickets. the MNSSHP is a seperate ticket purchase.

So if the information given above will remain the same for 2005 then I guess the best time to go it the 23rd.

I've been wanting to ask this for a while but I didn't want to start a new thread... Does anyone know what park hours are like in mid and late June, especially MK? (I'm going from June 22nd to June 27th.) Might MK be open very late on Saturday the 25th? Plus, how does "extra magic hours" work? Is it automatically on resort guests' tickets?

Thanks!!

Whoever you talked to is right, the event is a seperate ticket purchase. The cool thing is that there are a few nights of the event where CM's get a discount.

As for June, like ISTCNavigator57 said its summer hours, everything is open late.

You would think they would stay open till 12:00 every night of the year. Make all the money they can get. How could you possibly do very much in one day from 9am-7pm?

The reason they can't stay open until midnight every night is the fact that they wouldn't make enough money at night during off-season. If the parks were open right now, or for the past two months let's say, it wouldn't work. There isn't enough people in the parks to keep it open really late at night. With all the CMs it takes to run the park, it would be cheaper to close it at 8 or 9, if not earlier during these times.

Don't hold any of this information against me, I'm just making a complete guess as to why they do it they way they do.

Actually, that's the exact reason. Closing early may dissapoint some, but with low attendance, it just wouldn't be worth it financially.

Thanks for making sure I got it right Tyler, I wasn't 100% sure. That's the business and hospitality/theme park management coming out of me I guess. It's just basic knowledge that with a company that large, they would spend too much in keeping it open that late. It's just not worth it at all.
