Park hours/restaurant hours conflicting on DW site

Just noticed this while trying to move around some ADRs in early Sep, but the restaurant hours for the DHS locations are listed as 9 or 9:30p, depending on which day you look. But then the park hours for the Studios are only listed as being til 8:30 or 9p. I thought this was odd, but maybe it's a sign the park hours for the Studios are going to get extended yet again in the next day or so? A few nights (weekends) were extended last week at the Studios for early September and now I am starting to think they are extending them for every night by another half hour. Would be nice to see that park open til 9p every night and 9:30p on the weekends.


FYI, this is for the 1st 2 weeks of Sep I was looking at.

There will be a Fantasmic showing at park close time, so guests won't actually leave the park until 20-30 minutes after closing. Therefore if you don't want to watch Fantasmic you can have a late dinner as the park is still open, just none of the attractions are.

For example
Park Hours to 8:30pm
Fantastmic starts 8:30pm
Ride queues close 8:30pm
Restaurants close 9pm
Guests leave the park 8:55pm from Fantastmic onwards or as they finish riding their final ride.
Stores close 9:30pm (or later)
Final guests who started dining at 8:50pm may not leave until almost 10pm.

Ahhhh. Thanks! I don't think I knew they allowed ADRs after park closing time I guess. The fact that they are taking reservations at 8:45p on a night that the park closes at 8:30p seemed odd to me, but then I am used to going when the parks close at 9:30 or 10p, too. Is that normal for DW restaurants when hours are shorter where they allow park restaurants to be booked after the park closes? I know they do not practice this at DL at all.

Actually, one year I was able to do this. Fantasmic 8:30 PM, dinner booked at 9:00 PM. We were basically one of about 4 tables of people in Sci-Fi. When we left the restaurant, security was waiting outside to meet us, and took us out of the park. In the discussion, they told us that it had been an error, they were not supposed to be booking for that late, but since several groups had made reservations, they honored them.
Not sure if policies have changed and this is now normal, or an error again.

Thanks! Well I went ahead and booked it since it was available. I have a reservation at 5p earlier that evening, but was trying to move it to 6p and then saw the 8:45p one come up. Guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks! Hahaha
