I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but with the return of PH does this mean that the Epcot Monorail will be reopening?

Quite likely. That was the reason that I think @Magic Feather gave for it not being open and the condition for it’s reopening.

I think it was in WDWMagic's blog post about the hopper drop that the Epcot monorail would open at the same time.

Interesting. The U.K. site doesn’t include anything about park to park transportation. Not that it matters yet for us.

Absolutely! Which is why I cancelled my Christmas trip to Disney and reserved the same week for Christmas in the Smokey Mountains at Dollywood! 109 per person for 3 day ticket. Nothing is cancelled and all the Christmas spirit one could ask for!! Disney can KMA.

Not only is everything open, Dollywood ADDED fireworks this year for Christmas in the Smokies.

I'm all for reopening everything where masks can help us return to normal, but other countries can do what they like. I'm not for telling another country what to do; no more than I am for the U.S. being dictated to by any outside power.

While I expect/hope the Epcot monorail comes back before then, this really makes me reconsider my Polynesian reservation for July.
The Resort monorail isn't that important to me, boats or walking to MK is fine, but the Epcot monorail is absolutely critical for a trip to Epcot from the Poly.
I hope they're able to clarify soon when they expect it to open.

And I’ve switched to the Yacht Club for my February trip. No point in staying at the Contemporary if I have to trade bus access to 3 parks for walking access to MK when I can get walking access to Epcot and DHS for the same price.

I posted this in another forum, but is there any impact from the Epcot construction on the monorail? Sight lines, maybe?

I just saw the monorail beam this weekend at Epcot, and it looked very clean.
