Have you seen "Wishes" in Paris yet?
what did you think?
I have to say I was somewhat surprised.
I was expecting a port of the Florida version, obviously with some changes.
What I got, was a lazer light projection show and a couple of fireworks.
I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the show, but I am saying I would never have called it "Wishes"
So they took the music, a direct port, plus some language barrier busters.
and they used the "shooting star" fireworks, which out of the 3 times we saw it, not one made it past the top tower and over the castle.
but it was so....techno, the bright green laser, the "fake" projection fireworks and the overuse of picture projection, the pictures that I can only describe as "child's room banner walpaper"...so large, so cartoonish.
I found WDW Wishes Classy
I found DLRP Wishes Tacky.
A fun show, but overshadowed by the memory of it's American counterpart.
We renamed it Sqwishes, Phenominal Cosmic Firework Show.....Itty Bitty Budget.
