Parasailing at WDW

Speaking for my DS (15) who did it last year, and for me who's done it at another spot, the longer and higher the better. Definitely worth the $$.

Two tips: (1) take a camera. If you are worried about your "good" one, get a disposable. It's the only time (for most) that you will get these views of the resort, so you will want to keep them.

(2) Unless you have a problem, DON'T signal to come down until they bring you down. DS thought the "launch" part was really cool, signaled to come down thinking he could do it again, and then was out of time. It wasn't too bad, but it cost him a couple minutes of air time. Once you are up, stay up and enjoy.

Also, one thought - IF you can, try to plan some flex in your schedule in case your first choice of day/time is cloudy/rainy. I don't even know if they fly in the rain, but a nice, postcard Florida day would be best.

Hope you have a great flight!!

PS: The guys at Sammy Duvall were super nice when we flew!:sohappy:
