I know I'm getting annoying with the questions but I want to make sure everything goes smoothly when I go in July, (I'm neurotic about stuff like this). What parades and shows are there that you recommend, and what should I do to get a great spot? Thanks!!

Recomend all of them. Get a spot early or be prepared to watch the parade from behind a large crowd of people. If you go to MK on a night with 2 Spectromagic parades go on rides (mainly Splash and Thunder Mtns) and watch the second Spectro. Most people watch the first and the lines will be very short during that time. Arrive atleast an hour or more early for Fantasmic.

Er..see my main problem is that I've never been there, so "fantasmic" and "spectromagic" seem kind of...well...greek to me. Sorry :( Can you elaborate a little bit?

Spectromagic is a nighttime light parade at the MK. Fantasmic is a nighttime show at DHS. Check the maps and show guides for the locations and times. They will be available online soon for July.

Also, if you go to Epcot, do NOT miss Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. A very good pyrotechnics show with fire, water and lasers as well! It is displayed at whatever time the park closes (usually 8pm or 9pm) and is a very good show all synced to a musical score!

I recommend seeing it from a spot right when you walk into World Showcase, you will see 2 stores that are identical. Right in the middle as close as you can get is a very good spot. Also between Mexico and Norway is good, any spot that has no trees is good.

I you go to any parades at the Magic Kingdom (which I'm sure you will) avoid Main Street like the plague, its packed solid. Look at a park map to find the parade route and head towards the starting point, its normally much quieter.

Have a great holiday!

To condense all you've been told:

DO NOT MISS:
Magic Kingdom -- Wishes
Spectromagic
3 o'clock Parade (Celebrate Dreams Come True)
Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it

EPCOT -- Illuminations

Disney's Hollywood Studios -- FANTASMIC (Best show of all the parks!!!)
Block Party Bash

Animal Kingdom -- Nemo, The Musical

If you want my opinion if you are going in July avoid the day time parades it just to hot and the lines may be a little lighter during them.

Iluminations at Epcot is good but the middle of the show is a laser show that I find to be very boring.

MK has the best one two punch I love Spectromagic and wishes.
DHS I love Fantasmic it's my favorite but get there early or all the seats will be taken by Brazillan tour groups!

I am super excited for you, and dont worry you arent getting annoying.

I would have to add something to Animal Kingdom...go see Festival of the Lion King as well, it runs at several times during the day.

As for where to watch the show/parades:

Wishes Fireworks (in Magic Kingdom) - I like to be just at the point where Main Street ends (toward the Castle), if you stand too close to the Castle you miss the big picture of the fireworks. You dont need to get to your spot any more than 15 minutes before the show, its a large area.

Spectromagic Night parade (in Magic Kingdom) - I also like to be on Main Street for this, I also advise to go see the second parade, however I would give yourself about 45 minutes to secure a curb side seat...it makes it seem like you are in the parade.

Illuminations (Epcot Nighttime Fireworks) - I stand in Norway, I advise getting there about 35 minutes early to get a spot right on the fence/edge of the lake.

Fantasmic (MGM Nighttime Show) - This show is just too cool, go ahead and get there about 45 minutes to an hour early, you dont want to be too close because you miss the big picture again...sit right in the middle (if you can) about 3/4 of the way up the theatre.

Again, this is just my preference, when you get there and you want to adjust do it...it wont ruin anything and I guarantee you'll still have an awesome time.
