Parade Testing at Magic Kingdom

I'm in for a new electrical parade as long as it could be a spiritual successor to Spectromagic. I'm really against a clone of PTC at WDW.

I'm gonna feel like a beloved pet died if they get rid of the MSEP. I cant even imagine walking around MK during my favorite part of the day without hearing that fun catchy music. Hope it's just a rumor.
Don't worry, just ask any of us who loved Spectromagic in that way. At least MSEP got more than it's time in (second coming even) and wasn't left to rot by idiots like Spectro, who didn't get that chance. :(

..... Yeahhhhhhh........ I'm not gonna call BS but I'm gonna need someone I know personally before I believe it.

Stop spreading/believing that urban legend. It didn't rot. It was simply thrown out because they didn't want to spend the money ($1M-ish) to bring the parade back to show standards.

There was a post on another site regarding overnight audio testing. Nothing to imply that it has anything to do with a new parade, but maybe where the rumor the OP is suggesting is stemming from?

Between May 10 and 13, 2016, from park close until 6 a.m., audio testing will take place in the Cinderella Castle Forecourt area of the Magic Kingdom Park.
During the testing hours, the technical team and music department will play music to test the speakers in the area and to improve the overall quality of the sound. This test is not expected to impact the surrounding resorts, as the sound level will be kept low throughout the night. Stay tuned for additional updates.

Definitely possible, as I'm sure that testing is for the new castle show. It's a shame as it seems MSEP's fate will likely be the same as Spectro in the end. Let's just hope they actually have a replacement before they let it fall apart.

Any new night parade would be an improvement in our estimation. While it is unlikely to meet the superior standard set by Spectromagic, any night parade would certainly be better than the two lowest choices of no night parade and another continuation of that nails on a chalkboard MSEP.
