Parade/Character Question

This is a question I have always asked myself. I watch the parades all the time. I also greet all the characters. However I was wondering why parade character dont greet at all. For example, Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh. He is in the parade, so there is a costuem etc and a person to play the character. Yet Rabbit never comes out to greet. Other include the Wicked Witch (Snow White, not in her nice form but her ugly form), I am sure there is others that I cant think of right now.

because staffing a parade and staffing a meet are entirely different. Furthermore, some characters they only have permission to use in certain locations, whether by park management, or due to contractial obligations... lastly, the cost and rarity of some "fabrics" make a character meet rather prohibitive.

However, the Hag has been out at MGM before, and Rabbit has been EXTREMELY random at MK before

Which parade did you see Rabbit in from Winne the Pooh.. I know tha t seomtimes he does do meet in greets over in toon town but that is very rare...

Rabbit is in the Christmas Parade. He may be in other special parades as well.

OK I knew for a fact that he was not in SADCTP. Yes the christmas parade is the only parade he is in. But like I said every now and then he does do meet and greets in toon town in the pals room with pooh.

Yeah it was the Xmas parade I saw him in when I went to the Mickeys Very Merry Xmas Party

I really wish they would get some of the more rare characters out for greets more. I see the same characters all the time and once in a while see someone new.

He was actually in Mickeys Boo-to-You Halloween Parade in 02, as well... don't know about '03, didn't see it then.

he's in the 2 MK seasonal parades... (easter doesn't count since it's not a parade anymore)
