Now I know I could search through and find this answer, but there are allot of paperboy threads. Why again was he turned around, and will he ever face the public again?

Because not one member of the public ever purchased a paper from him.:lookaroun

I like this one!!!

But seriously, is there a reason why he is way back against the wall?

Ok now I have to be funny, was he one of the guest during the Tiki room fire and now he has burns all over his face.

I have no idea what the official reason is, but it would not surprise me in the least if it was something as simple as a budgetary reason. An AA with an articulated face is much more expensive than one with a couple of articulated limbs.

He was put in time out but his parents forgot about him and never told him his punishment was over.

LOL, that was a good answer!

It does seem odd to turnhim away, and maybe there is a real reason, however, if you look at the scenery, he is hawking papers on the street, and I think we are lloking at the scene from the inside out... Just my opinion.

The street scene he's facing was added after he was relocated.

The beginning of the story, as I've read it here on the forums (though of course it's in no way official) is that the animatronic was damaged in some way during the refurb, either mechanically or cosmetically.

As a short-term fix when management wanted to get the attraction open again ASAP, they moved the figure to his current location facing away from the ride vehicles, but totally static. The street scene was eventually added.
Then at some point, he regained his motion, most likely thanks to 3rd shift work on the figure.

But the last step of the story, ie why he was never moved back to his original location, has never adequately been answered.

The paper boy turns his head to look over his shoulder at the ride vehicles. His face is somewhat clearly seen so it is intact. (Atleast the right side of it)

He's turned away from the ride vehicles because, well what's the point of selling a newspaper to us? On the other side of the track is a completely different scene. He's facing the wall because that's where the street is with all the apartment buildings so he's making his announcement at them. Makes perfect sense to me

except the street scene shows an empty alleyway...
